2017 GT-R Premium Pricing Announced

Earlier this morning, Nissan issued a press release announcing pricing for the 2017 Nissan GT-R Premium model. The 2017 model year represents the most significant changes to the iconic supercar since it was first unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show ahead of its launch in the United States as a 2009 model. Enhancements focus on five key areas (exterior design, interior refinement, driving performance, ride comfort, and advanced technology) that combine to create previously unreachable levels of refinement and excitement.

Nissan's V-motion front grille has been enlarged to facilitate better airflow and engine cooling, and the hood has been reinforced for better stability at higher speeds. The torque curve has been leveled out for "enhanced on-demand acceleration" and horsepower has been creased to 565, 20 more than the model it replaces.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R premium model will go on sale in mid-July at select Nissan dealers in the United States. MSRP begins at $109,990. Pricing for additional trim levels will be announced at a later date.
