Interbrand Names Nissan one of the World's Best Brands

Last Thursday, Nissan announced via a press release that it has been recognized as one of the top brands in the world for 2016 according to the prestigious Best Global Brands Study by Interbrand, the world-leading brand consultancy. Nissan ranked at number 43 on the list, an improvement over last year's ranking of 49. This was the fifth year in a row that Nissan has been recognized as one of the most valuable brands in the world.

Reasons for Nissan's inclusion on this year's list included the company's long-term vision for brand awareness, partnerships with other global companies, new product innovation, and a strong commitment to customer service.

"Brand Power has been a consistent focus across the company for the last five years and it is very encouraging that all our efforts continue to be recognized by this influential brand ranking," said Roel de Vries, corporate vice president and the global head of marketing and brand strategy for Nissan. "The fact that we remain the fastest growing automotive brand is also further proof that the story around our products and our vision for the future of driving is continuing to resonate."
